“We grew up in Wheeling and needed a place to stay for a family reunion. This house worked well for 5 of us. It is a quaint victorian style house in a quiet little neighborhood. The wood work is beautiful and the house is cozy, we loved the front porch! The host answers messages promptly. We do have to say that the house could use a deep clean. The baseboards need dusted and some vacuuming needs done. The stove was not clean, but luckily we didn't need to use it. Also the listing says 2……

“This was our first visit to Wheeling and we weren’t sure what to expect. We had a great time and this unit was the perfect home base. It’s a short drive to the casino and within walking distance of Capital Theatre, the hockey arena, and restaurants. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee and nightcaps. Quiet area and comfy bed. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance to come back to Wheeling. ”

“This property was terrible. We arrived to find the house filthy and all the beds unmade. Trash everywhere, food left out on counters, blood in one of the beds. We could not stay here and booked another hotel at 11:00 PM in Pittsburgh. I have never seen such a filthy vacation rental. ”
